After years of avoiding the whole Will issue, I found someone who is good, prompt, & affordable, & feel much relieved to have my affairs in order.

You took all of the work out of the entire process for my family and I. We were able to sit back and relax because you came to our home. Thank you so much for all of your services.

For an attorney to make house calls is unusual. But doing so at the client’s convenience is not the only way that Kathleen Hunt is unusual, as I learnt while she prepared a complete set of estate planning documents for me. She is low key, but extremely efficient and effective. Unobtrusively supportive, she goes out of her way to bring clarity and understanding for the client to the process and product of planning. Combining skilful questioning with clear thinking, she helps the client figure out and clarify what exactly is wanted; explains implications of various alternatives; and is flexible in coming up with new alternatives if appropriate. That much of the hammering out of final texts of documents, and answers to questions, are by e-mail has the benefit of providing a record, rather than having to remember all of what was said in telephone conversations. The very helpful summary and explanation of reasons for the provisions in each of the final documents in non-legalese is an extra bonus. Her competitive fee structure is clearly spelled out at the start. Moreover, she does not charge extra for answering questions that may come up after completion of the documents. I could not have wished for a better experience.
